OUR M.O.

We understand the concerns of homeowners regarding contractors- with so many available of differing quality, it can be difficult to trust that your home will be protected and respected. We’ve all experienced, heard, or read reviews of unprofessional contractors wrecking floors, carpets, walls, and possessions- sometimes irreplaceable, often priceless.

Enter Wallaby Windows:
We operate with empathy and care from product selection to installation. We know what it’s like to undergo a project like window and door replacement and installation, and we are committed to treating you and your property as we’d like to be treated.

Wallaby’s White Glove Service guarantees you a “Pane-Free” experience, delivering the first-class service that you not only expect, but deserve.

THE WHITE GLOVE PROCESS

Step 1

On installation day, your dedicated Project Supervisor will arrive first to start protecting your property prior to commencing work by placing safety cones as needed, as well as a drip mat under our vehicles to preserve driveways and parking areas.

Your Project Supervisor will greet you and review what you may expect for the day and the initial steps that he or she will take before installers arrive. This includes but is not limited to a walk around the property or area where new windows are to be installed. During this review, your Project Supervisor will place yard signs as well as a safety kit in an agreed-upon area. He or she will also take note of any existing damage as well as areas that necessitate property protection.

Step 2

When our installers arrive, your Project Supervisor will oversee and direct them where to park and ensure that safety cones and drip mats are placed around and under all Wallaby Windows installer vehicles.

Step 3

Next, your Project Supervisor will request an interior tour of the areas to be serviced. During this walk-through, we will confirm proper access and considerations such as pets, the need to move furniture, and timing for completion.

Step 4

Your Project Supervisor will then direct, oversee, and assist the installers in placing ground coverings to protect your flooring, moving furniture as needed. Furniture will also be covered to prevent damage from debris. Outdoor areas adjacent to the windows being installed will be covered with tarps to preserve the integrity of your lawn, plants, and property in general.

Once the previous steps have been finalized and verified, your Project Supervisor will confirm to you that preparation is complete, and that installers are ready to begin replacing windows (and making noise!). We will share any photos of existing damage we’ve found and confirm the sequencing – where our team will start and finish working – as well as the timing and an estimated time for completion.

Step 5

As the installers begin work, your Project Supervisor will oversee the removal of existing windows, directing old windows to be carefully and safely taken to our trailer for disposal. As each new window is installed, he or she will assess the work with a critical eye and direct installers to either make adjustments or to move on to the next window. During this time, your Project Supervisor will send, with your permission, text messages with photos and updates of progression.

Step 6

When the final window has been installed, we will move on to trim, finish, and painting to restore the area and leave no unsightly marks.

Step 7

From here, your Project Supervisor will direct and oversee the removal of any exterior protection (tarps) as well as exterior cleanup of all debris, such as paper, packaging, glass, nails- anything that wasn’t there when we arrived. We will then move indoors to re-set your furniture and belongings to their usual positions, and remove all interior protection (tarps, plastic, runners).

Step 8

Lastly, your Project Supervisor will again inspect each window thoroughly for quality assurance and invite you to inspect and review our work as well before signing off on the completion of the job.

When we leave the premises, the only visible sign that we’ve been there will be a yard sign- with your permission, of course.
