Harvey is based out of Massachusetts and has been in business since 1961. During that time, they’ve developed a strong track record and reputation for thriving in the volatile climates of the Northeast, Harvey recently expanded across the United States and began distributions here in Tennessee in the fall of 2023. Overview
The Harvey Tribute series is their premium vinyl option made with nearly twice as much PVC vinyl than the competition, increasing structural integrity and enhancing thermal performance without compromising the glass space or being overly bulky as many others tend to be. Harvey also has one of the best air infiltration ratings in the industry, meaning your new windows will be less drafty and will function the way they were designed; to improve your comfort and reduce your utilities.
This window offers a sleek profile that emulates a traditional wood window, but without the maintenance, and with a much better energy efficiency. The details of the fusion welded mainframe and sashes are clean and unlike many name brand vinyl windows in the market today. One of the knocks on many vinyl windows is in the corners, and one in which we believe Harvey does a fantastic job in their manufacturing quality.
Aside from the general construction of this window and its impressive thermal performance, the Harvey Tribute series offers one of the more impressive range of features for a true custom design to meet homeowner needs and increase curb appeal. Many common window brands have a handful of options to choose from, but not with the Harvey Tribute series. There are nearly endless features to choose from, making this one of the most diverse window solutions available in the market today.

Double Hung units offer standard sash split along with oriel, cottage, and a custom design for a unique look specific to your preference.
The Tribute can be manufactured in both block frame (replacement) and new construction frame (with flange) for increased versatility across applications.
Colors
While white vinyl windows have been the standard over the past two decades, one of the great benefits of this series from Harvey is in the paint color options available. This robust list of paint options allows for a truly unique aesthetic to match your personality and compliment your home. There are 7 standard paint colors to choose from but you can also choose from 28 specialty paint colors that give your home even great appeal. Better yet, Harvey didn’t stop there. They even offer a custom color option that just requires the color code from the paint manufacturer meaning if you really want your window to match your Sherwin Williams painted trim or siding, we can do that too through this Harvey Tribute!
As far as glass packages to choose from, this series comes in 8 different energy efficient options for your particular needs based upon your Energy Star zone and the problem you’re trying to solve for improving comfort in your home. Additionally, you can build custom glass packages for dual or triple-pane, one or two coats of Low-E, single strength or double strength glass, tempered glass, and tinted or obscure glass for enhanced privacy.
Grids
Further setting the stage for a truly custom window, the Tribute series offers a range of grid styles and patterns to add increased character and charm. In addition to the contemporary appeal of no grids, you can choose from both flat and contoured grids between the glass (GBG) along with a diverse set of custom exterior applied grids as illustrated in the graphic below.
One of our favorite grid types available through Harvey is the Simulated Divided Lite (SDL) in which you get an exterior applied grid with an internal spacer that combined gives the appearance of a single pane of glass as you would have in the old wood windows. Offered in two sizes, the Simulated Divided Lite grid type is a beautiful feature for those who love the look of a wood window.
Lastly regarding the grids, patterns can be customized based upon the homeowners preferred style and orientation. From standard colonial, to prairie, and everything in between, there’s no shortage of ways to design your ideal look and Wallaby is here to help!
The sashes and mainframe can be foam filled for enhanced performance if desired. The screens available on operable units can be half or full, and extruded or flexscreen (as seen on the tv show Shark Tank).
Hardware & Trim
The hardware on double hung units comes with a dual-action cam lock and tilt combo which helps to eliminate unsightly plastic tilt latches in the corners most common with vinyl windows. Hardware for operable units comes in white, bronze, or nickel finish. The lift rail on double hung units can be customized without, or with either an integral (extruded) rail or a more elegant applied lift more like a wood window would have.
Another great benefit offered by Harvey is their interior pine wood trim kits available in a number of profile options and sizes for both new construction and full replacement applications. These kits come in colonial, flat, and ranch style profiles and also include stools & aprons cut to size. These kits dramatically help to simplify the installation process and allow crews to complete the job more efficiently without the need for on site carpentry.
Warranty
As an extension of their confidence in their product, Harvey backs their vinyl windows with a Lifetime Limited Warranty on all vinyl and mechanical parts along with a 20 year warranty on the glass for any seal failures which is a fantastic value and vote of confidence in the longevity of these windows.
